People suffer from difficulty swallowing for multiple reasons. It can be due to a stroke, brain injury, cancer, neurological disorder, tracheostomy and many other diagnoses. Sometimes the reason you are having swallowing difficulty is unclear and you need help figuring out why.

We can help by starting with a comprehensive clinical assessment. It’s possible that we would request further tests to better understand your swallow function and where the specific challenges are occurring.

Once we understand your specific needs, we can move forward with treatment. This may involve just a few sessions or intensive therapy sessions over the period of a few weeks.
